Description:
70 year old woman underwent partial gastrectomy because of a tumor of ventricular antrum. Clinically anticipated diagnosis was gastrointestinal stromal tumor. Macroscopically a well-demarcated, ovoid, white coloured tumorous mass measuring 32x15mm was identified. Superficial gastric mucosa was focally depressed but without distinct ulceration.
