Residents Special - Case 9

Description:

The patient is a 60-year old man who presented with a painful tumor mass of the left breast. He had previously had two surgeries of the same breast (fourteen and eight years ago). Patient is not sure about previous diagnoses, but thinks it was a benign. During this hospitalization the physical examination revealed a roundish tumor mass in the lower lateral quadrant of the left breast measuring 2 cm in size. The tumor was movable, elastic hard with clear margins. There were no palpable lymph nodes in the axillary fossa. Excision biopsy was performed.
