Case description:
A 57-year-old man presented with a dermal/subcutaneous lesion on the scalp, which was interpreted clinically as an “atheroma”. On gross inspection of the excision specimen, the skin surface was unremarkable. On cut surface, there was an 11-milimmeter large lesion in the dermis and subcutis.
